Adding Kucoin Spot API Keys to HyperTrader

The first thing you need to do is create the API Keys, Please follow the below steps to create an API key:

  • Log into your Kucoin account here and Click “API Management”

  • To create API click on “ Create API key”

  • Set the API permissions for the API Key as shown below.

Note- Users must remember the passphrase that they enter while creating API as it is required while setting up their keys on trading platforms.

  • Next, you will be prompted to enter security verification for your account.

  • Once you successfully create the API Key, please ensure you note it down and keep it safe.

Anytime you wish to edit the permissions for this API key or delete the API keys simply select the relevant option Screenshot 2023-07-11 at 11.55.25 AM.png

  • Now once your API has been created and appropriate permissions have been set, you can proceed to add these to HyperTrader.

Conditional orders have increased risk due to their reliance on trigger processing, market data, and other internal and external systems like an exchange. Such orders are not sent to the market until specified conditions are met. During that time, system outages with downstream technologies or exchanges may occur. HyperTrader or its subsidiaries may not always be aware of such changes to external controls immediately, leading to some conditional orders not being executed. As such, you need to monitor your conditional orders for reasonability. Conditional orders are “Not Held” orders whose execution instructions are on a best-efforts basis upon being triggered.

Furthermore, conditional orders may be subject to the increased risks of stop orders and market orders outlined above.
